Dear Southlake Neighbors,
By now, I hope most of you have adapted to our stay at home life and deciding each day what is essential. I’m thankful for our digital world that makes it possible for most of us to work from home and be entertained in ways that wouldn’t have been possible 10 years ago. In spite of this, please take the time to walk around our beautiful Southlake neighborhoods and speak to your neighbors (at a distance, of course).
Since Alabama has issued a shelter-in-place order, we are postponing our Southlake Residential Association annual meeting to June 16, 2020. Mayor Frank Brocato is scheduled to speak at annual meeting and will be available to answer any question you may have about our city government. The annual election for open Board of Director’s positions will also take place at the meeting. Please watch your mailbox beginning in mid-May for the Board of Director ballots and more news about the annual meeting.
Spring is the time we have chosen for all neighborhoods to make an extra effort to beautify Southlake. With the business association we plan to renew and improve our Southlake Parkway plantings in April so please be watching for that and let us know what you think by contacting us through www.southlakehoover.com.
